DENBROOK INTERCEPTOR & PUMP STATION



DESCRIPTION: The project included the designed 5,500 linear feet of a 12-inch diameter force man, construction of a 1 MGD lift station, and elated collection system improvements for the Den Brook Interceptor and Pump Station located in Randolph, New Jersey.  This project was funded through the NJEIT, and required several NJDEP and State House Commission approvals.  Construction completed in 2003.

SCE prepared design plans and specifications for the Denbrook wastewater pump station and force main, and on behalf of the Township of Randolph prepared and submitted an application for funding through the NJDEP under the New Jersey Environmental Trust and obtained a $1,600,000 low-interest loan for full funding of the project.  In addition, SCE prepared, submitted and successfully obtained the approvals for the diversion of open space from the New Jersey Statehouse Commission for this project.
